Odd sinus drainage?

every so often i have "something" come out of my mouth. i can feel it come from the top of my throat so i ume sinus issue...they are solid..kinda yellow in color kind of pebble looking. and smell horrible!!! what on earth could this be....its not constant but every few months i will see 10 to 20....and its been going on for years
