Where can u paste HTML codes in myspace?

I am customizing a profile for a friend of mine. He already has a simple layout (color and a centered picture) I went into "about me" to erase the layout and there is nothing there but his description. No HTML code. I have looked everywhere and cannot find any codes. I also tried switching to 2.0 and clearing the layout to "plain". But when you go back to 1.0 his old layout reappears..HELP!!
